As a CP patient with chronic low back pain I went past my own comfort zone in how many Epidural Injections I had done all in the name of getting meds to control my pain. And where are they, if such places exist?"&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;That's a great question, M, and I don't have an answer. My impression from being on some of the support groups, and this is purely anecdotal evidence here, is that pain treatment is worse in the US as you rarely see the kind of horror stories Americans routinely post on these groups coming from people in other countries. When they talk about problems, it's usually due to having really complex conditions that baffle their doctors. For us, it's being humiliated, abused and denied treatment even when our conditions are clear-cut and readily treatable.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I firmly believe the only solution is to end prohibition. No other solution puts the power to control our lives back in our hands where it belongs.
